Storage Policy

Essential browser storage

We use local storage and one essential backup cookie to keep your brush working:

• oti_api_key keeps this browser connected to your brush.
• oti_api_key_backup provides a one-year recovery copy where the browser permits it.
• oti_analytics_consent remembers your analytics choice.

The brush key is essential to the feature you requested. Removing both copies signs this browser out of that brush. In-app browsers may keep separate storage from Safari.

Optional analytics storage

If you select “Allow anonymous analytics”, we store a random oti_anon_id in this browser. It helps us understand repeat visits and which features work. It is not your name or email. Optional analytics are disabled unless you choose to allow them.

Your controls

You can change your analytics choice from the link in the site footer. Selecting “Essential only” stops new optional events. Clearing site data removes all local values, including your brush key. Save your API key elsewhere first if you want to keep that brush.

No advertising trackers

We currently use no advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies.
