ONE TINY INTERNET
THE GROUND RULES

Terms of Use

Keep it playful, lawful and kind.

Last updated: 17 August 2026

1. The service

One Tiny Internet is an experimental public pixel canvas and API. By creating a brush, painting or joining a challenge, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 16.

2. Your brush

You are responsible for activity performed with your API key. Keep it secret. Brush names do not create ownership of a real-world identity, word or brand.

3. Acceptable use

Do not submit unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, privacy-invasive or infringing content. Do not impersonate others, expose personal information, bypass rate limits, manipulate challenges through fake identities, disrupt the service or use automation that ignores published API rules.

4. Your contributions

You keep any rights you have in your contributions. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, moderate, archive and promote those contributions as part of One Tiny Internet, including snapshots and time-lapses.

5. Moderation

We may freeze the canvas, remove pixels, revoke brushes, reverse events or end challenges to protect the service and community. We are not required to preserve any contribution or account.

6. APIs and automation

Automation is welcome when honestly identified and operated within the published rules. We may change limits or revoke access where an integration harms reliability, fairness or other participants.

7. Availability

The service is provided “as is” while being tested. It may contain bugs, lose data, change or close without notice. Do not rely on it for important storage, communication or safety functions.

8. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost data, missed opportunities or content submitted by other participants.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms as the experiment develops. Material changes will be shown on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
